Benefitax has a special focus on India and the South Asian region. This focus found its recent development in launching the India Desk as a special service tool for companies from that area. We are especially proud that clients from that area can be attended in Hindi spoken as mother tongue or in fluent Urdu by one of our employess, Mr. Neeraj-Kumar Popat, and of course all our employees speak fluent English.

Our experts regularly deliver speeches on tax, accounting or general Indo-German topics in India or in Germany. The most recent presentation took place in November 2011 when our managing partner, Mr. Oliver Biernat, was part of a film and pharma promotion tour to Mumbai and Goa, giving two presentations about tax and accounting aspects of German entitites of Indian pharma firms. In Goa, Mr. Biernat also visited the Goa Film Festival and had the pleasure of being invited to an evening reception by the Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Smt. Ambika Soni, and the Chief Minister of Goa, Mr. Shri Digambar Kamat, where he sat next table to Shah Rukh Khan and other Indian film stars and producers. Formerly, presentations were given at the Indo-German business meet in Frankfurt, New Opportunities of Doing Business in Germany in Delhi or India meets Frankfurt at the Cebit in Hanover.

In order to cover all needs of international business and double check e.g. international tax planning structures with Indian experts we also have cooperation partners like lawyers and chartered accountants all over India. We are an active member of Indo-German Chamber of Commerce with offices in Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Düsseldorf/Germany.

For Indian companies which would like to do business in Germany we offer special services and can act as a one-stop-shop in Germany. We have a special focus on M&A, providing due diligence and valuation services for Indian companies which are interested in buying German enterprises. For those who have bought a company or want to establish their own German entity we offer all kinds of financial administration and reporting services in order to comply with German rules. Via partner firms in Germany we are able to provide first-class legal due diligence, find a bank in Germany or support Indian companies or support Indian companies to get visas or work permits for their employees in Germany. We are quite well known to the "Indian community" in the Frankfurt region, have good relationships with the Indian Consulate General in Frankfurt and are members of the German-Indian Round Table and the IT India Day in Frankfurt.

Our office premises are located within 15 minutes reach from Frankfurt International Airport, with many direct flights to Asia, and offer several spacious conference facilities with a panoramic view on Frankfurt´s skyline. Legal, translation and business communication services can be provided inhouse by an external internationally oriented law firm, and translation services can be provided by our own chartered translator for German/English and English/German.
